Taking some tentative steps into the ocean, Hilary Duff looks as if she regretted going for that swim in the Hawaiian surf.
The 21-year-old actress seemed chilly as she ventured into the sea and appeared to brace herself as the waves lapped at her midriff, before beating a hasty retreat back to her sun lounger.

Other than her apparent reluctance to get wet, Hilary looked set for fun in a plain black bikini and an oversized pair of sunglasses.
The former Disney Star is currently on holiday with her boyfriend Mike Comrie.
Hilary, who used to play teenager Lizzie McGuire, is set to ditch her child star image when she appears in What Goes Up.
She stars opposite Steve Coogan in the film about a group of dysfunctional students.
The film sees Coogan as a morally bereft reporter sent to cover the Challenger Space Shuttle launch, and later becoming involved with some high school girls.

The 68-year-old actress sniped: ‘Couldn’t they at least have cast a real actress?’
Hilary is said to have responded to the jibes by deeming them: ‘A little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now’, in reference to Miss Dunaway’s former enthusiasm for plastic surgery.
As a parting shot, she added: ‘I think that my fans are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…’
